Job Description

UHAFD is seeking a talented Investment Analyst to join our Micro-Equity Investment team in London. This role will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and structuring investment opportunities that deliver both financial sustainability and measurable social impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment applications against UHAFD's financial and social impact criteria
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities
• Structure deals that align with our micro-equity model (1.5% equity stake with no repayment obligations)
• Create financial models to forecast investment outcomes and impact metrics
• Contribute to the development of investment strategies for specific regions and sectors
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide support to portfolio companies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field (MBA or similar advanced degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in impact investing, venture capital, or related fields
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
• Understanding of emerging markets and development challenges
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel internationally 25-30% of the time
